Tools

I figured out years ago that I can’t be completely digital. I tried a ton of paper tools to scratch my various productivity itches, but all of them left me wanting. So, I made my own.

To justify printing my own productivity tools, I had a lot of extras made, and offered them for sale. I assumed a few paper and productivity nerds would swoon over them, and then I would slowly have to use them up for the next few decades.

Not exactly. They sold fast. So did the second batches. I now order these things by the tens of thousands and run a homemade “fulfillment center” on the workbench in my basement. It’s fun, and I get to offer well-designed tools to people who want something nicer than a legal pad and blank index cards.
